Job summary

ProAmpac is looking for a Printing Press Assistant to support the Printing Department, ensuring quality and preparing for upcoming orders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will monitor viscosities, apply ink per spec sheets, and assist the Press Operator as needed while maintaining safety and teamwork. This role includes a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shift, with strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with printing equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills expected.
• Strong attention to detail and team focus.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepares for upcoming orders.
• Packages/wraps finished rolls.
• Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms.
• Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Ability to fill-in for the Press Operator job when necessary.
