Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) Payment Technology division seeks a Press Helper to assist the Lead Press Operator in operating and maintaining the press, ensuring a constant material flow, and delivering components for installation. The role involves make-ready tasks, safety adherence, and lean manufacturing participation.

Responsibilities include handling plates, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean, efficient work area while complying with MSDS, safety policies, and hazardous material

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience as a press feeder in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers.
• Ability to handle potentially hazardous materials.
• Must pass a drug test and criminal background check prior to employment.
• English language communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Lead Press Operator in operation and maintenance of the press.
• Loads raw materials into feeder to ensure a constant material flow.
• Makes adjustments to feeder mechanism based on stock size.
• Delivers plates and materials to equipment for installation.
• Performs make-ready tasks including washing, recycling plates and keeping area clean.
• Participates in lean manufacturing initiatives and quality inspections.
