Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Printing Press Assistant in our Printing Department to support quality, prep upcoming orders, and help move finished rolls in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. The role requires basic mechanical/mathematical skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include assisting with ink on spec, dispersing, forklift handling, and potential coverage for the Press Operator when needed. This is a full-time position with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience with printing equipment a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepares for upcoming orders.
• Packages/wraps finished rolls.
• Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms.
• Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Ability to fill-in for the Press Operator job when necessary.
