Job summary

Winpak Films is seeking a Printing Press Apprentice to join our Production team in Senoia, Georgia on a 12-hour rotating day shift (8a-8p). You will assist with press setup, material preparation, quality checks, and inkroom tasks to support production efficiency.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of printing experience, and basic math, tape measure, and computer skills. This is a 100% onsite role with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of printing experience or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn systems used in production.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and paperwork.
• Ability to complete required documentation and monitor gauges and equipment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operators, supervisors, and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with press setup, changeovers, and preparation of materials.
• Read and follow order paperwork and customer specifications.
• Complete quality checks and monitor printing process for quality.
• Prepare, stage, load, unload, label and move materials for printing.
• Assist with mounting, graphics, inkroom activities, and ink preparation.
• Monitor ink viscosity and assist with color and print quality.
• Track and report scrap; help minimize waste and maximize production.
• Maintain clean and organized printing and ink areas.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or problems.
