The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and can read production schedules and follow written instructions. Candidates should be able to stand long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in printing, manufacturing, or a production technician role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Basic mechanical and computer skills required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and production schedules.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Produce and process printing plates based on job orders and production specifications.
• Operate and maintain plate-making equipment and related machinery.
• Inspect and verify accuracy and quality of finished plates.
• Keep work area organized and ensure proper handling of materials.
• Follow all safety procedures and standard operating guidelines.
• Collaborate with prepress and press departments to ensure plates meet production needs.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed.
