Job summary

Amcor in the United States operates printing and packaging production lines focused on quality and safety. The operator will monitor container and lid quality, adhere to Life Saving Behaviors, and maintain cleanliness and organization on the line.

The role requires reporting injuries, performing equipment adjustments with proper training, and completing shift paperwork while following GMP, SQF, and ISO standards. The position emphasizes teamwork and adherence to company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and insure quality of containers and lids per specifications
• Follow all plant Life Saving Behaviors
• Follow safety guidelines in the department
• Report injuries or unsafe acts immediately to designated staff
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the work area
• Perform miscellaneous tasks for Printing Department or other departments as needed
• Clean and make minor adjustments to machine and auxiliary equipment during production to meet specs
• Complete paperwork during or at end of shift as required
• Other duties as established by Printing Manager or Group Leader
• If quality expectations are not met, operator may shut the press down and call technical staff
• Printing Operators may make minor color and blanket adjustments after training
• Printing Operators may stop production if working conditions are hazardous
• Follow all GMP, SQF and ISO standards
