Job summary

TekniPlex Van Wert is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support fiber manufacturing equipment, with focus on printing and packaging operations. You will assist in troubleshooting, adjustments, and maintenance of printers, bag sealers, and related machinery.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with denesters and mechanical components, plus a strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical systems. Eaton/Siemens controls familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Complete understanding of denesters, printers, bag sealers and mechanical components.

Responsibilities

Assist departmental personnel in troubleshooting, operation, and processing capability.
Troubleshoots equipment and makes machine repairs/adjustments.
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and plan downtime for repairs.
Monitor printing equipment and related components for proper function.
Review machine output against maintenance capabilities to improve uptime.
Follow plant safety and housekeeping guidelines.
