Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a Temporary Equipment Operator to prepare and operate printing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. You will perform routine maintenance, ink preparation, and quality checks to ensure flawless output while coordinating with the Production Team to meet changing deadlines.

Qualifications

• Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
• High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• High degree of mechanical ability.
• Good reading ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper for correct type, size, color, and quantity.
• Check plates for correct format.
• Visually inspect forms throughout the run for quality.
• Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs and reorganize work as needed to meet deadline changes and updates.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements for the job and equipment.
