Taylor Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain printing equipment and related machinery within the facility. The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and proactive upkeep to prevent breakdowns.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and understand work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, operating procedures, and other job-related written documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees throughout the facility.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Observe, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair printing equipment, press parts, electrical problems, and other equipment throughout the facility.
• Set up and operate drills, grinders, welders, and other necessary tools and equipment to make and repair presses and component parts.
• Operate forklifts and/or scissor lifts while wearing required safety equipment.
• Initiate purchase orders for items necessary to repair or replace component parts or other related equipment and maintain all records related to those purchases, including retention and filing of receipts.
