Job summary

Exelare is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, repair, and maintain advanced print-finishing machinery at commercial printing plants. The role involves over 50% travel regionally and nationally, with emphasis on reading schematics and communicating technical issues by phone.

Ideal candidates will have experience with HMIs, PLCs, and strong organizational skills. You must live near a major airport; excellent benefits are offered and OT is available.

Qualifications

• Experience with control systems including HMIs and PLCs.
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose complex automation equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on complex automation equipment at printing plants.
• Travel more than 50% regionally and nationally.
• Discuss technical issues over the phone and read schematics to troubleshoot.
