Silgan Closures in Richmond, IN is seeking a Printing and Coating Engineer to support metal coil coating, sheet coating, printing and related processes. The role drives plant improvements and collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing outcomes.

You will lead equipment installations, troubleshoot complex systems, train staff, and ensure safety compliance across operations with travel to nearby sites as needed. Richmond-based role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Significant experience in can manufacturing, coil coating or coating operations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvements to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Support coil coating, printing, curing ovens, oxidizers and heat recovery systems.
• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment and identify root causes.
• Lead equipment installations, audits and qualification activities.
• Collaborate with plant teams and OEMs to develop new products.
