Job summary

Georgia Department of Corrections is seeking an entry level Plant Supervisor to oversee inmate laborers in manufacturing tasks. Under direct supervision, you will coordinate the workforce, plant operations, inventory, and requirements, while assisting senior supervisors and helping to train inmates.

The role may include routine maintenance of production equipment. Preferred qualifications include textile manufacturing experience and knowledge of knitting machinery, with emphasis on safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical experience in textile manufacturing within knitting or hosiery production.
• Knowledge of or exposure to circular knitting machines and related manufacturing processes.
