Job summary

Georgia Correctional Industries is seeking an Entry level Plant Supervisor to oversee inmate laborers in manufacturing duties in a Georgia facility. The role involves coordinating workforce, plant operations, inventory, and requirements under direct supervision.

The ideal candidate will assist senior supervisors in training inmates, implementing safety procedures, and ensuring quality control and efficient manufacturing processes. Routine maintenance of production equipment may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: technical experience in textile manufacturing, knitting or hosiery production.
• Knowledge of circular knitting machines and related manufacturing processes is a plus.
