District Photo Inc. in Beltsville, MD is seeking a Print Technology Manager to lead printing technologies across facilities. The role focuses on uptime, output, and cost efficiency while collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers such as Canon, Ricoh, and HP.

The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, manage a team, and partner with Operations and Engineering to optimize production processes and technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• 5+ years experience in digital print technology, manufacturing engineering, or technical ops leadership.
• 2+ years in a leadership/supervisory role.
• Experience applying Lean, RCA, Failure Analysis, CI methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Ensure uptime and output targets for presses as per contract.
• Maintain throughput per hour as defined by workflow planning.
• Monitor and optimize waste management to meet target levels.
• Review and maintain planned maintenance schedules.
• Serve as point of contact between internal teams and external suppliers.
• Provide weekly/monthly/annual performance reviews and drive data-driven improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement and capex input discussions with stakeholders.
• Develop and mentor staff to reach full potential and ensure safety compliance.
