Job summary

Intermountain Health's Print Center – Salt Lake City is seeking a Press Operations professional for 2nd shift focusing on digital press setup and operation. You will manage cut sheet and web-fed presses, transfer files, and ensure quality through calibration and color matching.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and meeting tight deadlines while delivering high-quality printed materials. Prior experience with printers and finishing equipment is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience and expertise working with printers and finishing equipment.
• Knowledge of pre-flight requirements for printing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the processing of a wide range of printed materials, ensuring efficient routing and completion.
• Operate and manage high-end equipment including inkjet presses, digital printers, bindery, and related production technologies.
• Meet deadlines by maintaining steady production pace with high-quality output.
• Transfer files electronically from network systems to printing equipment with accuracy and completeness.
• Calibrate equipment to ensure color and quality consistency with original specifications.
• Provide routine maintenance and first-level troubleshooting of print, mechanical, and software issues.
