Job summary

Intermountain Print Center – Salt Lake City is seeking a full-time Press Operations technician for 2nd shift. You will set up and operate cut sheet and web-fed digital presses, transfer files, and monitor print quality from start to finish.

Responsibilities include calibration, color management, density control, and routine maintenance. You will ensure products meet design specs and client expectations while coordinating with service providers when needed.

Qualifications

• Set up, operate, and monitor digital presses per job tickets.
• Perform color, density, and finishing checks during runs.
• Transfer files from network to production equipment accurately.
• Troubleshoot presses and perform routine maintenance.
• Coordinate parts inventory and consumables.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing of printed materials including forms, posters, flyers.
• Ensure timely routing and completion of print jobs.
• Calibrate and adjust outputs to meet design intent.
• Inspect finished products for quality and tolerance.
• Liaise with service providers for complex failures.
