Job summary

Plotter Doctors LLC is seeking a seasoned print production and design professional in the Phoenix area to lead color print production and coordinate marketing materials. You will manage schedules, negotiate with vendors, and oversee purchasing with PO workflows while handling graphic design tasks.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in printing, design, or related fields, and strong MS Office/Adobe design software skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in printing, graphic design, project management or supply chain environments.
• Knowledge of print production processes, equipment and software.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct accountability and management of color print production.
• Coordinate production of marketing material (business cards, social media content).
• Maintain print production schedules.
• Work with vendors to improve relationships and pricing.
• Develop specs for new components with vendors and negotiate pricing.
• Oversee purchasing processes including PO completion, tracking shipments and receipts.
• Lead vendor reviews and monthly marketing campaigns.
• Graphic design duties and finish printing tasks (mounting, hemming, grommets).
• Collaborate across the organization to achieve department goals.

• Direct accountability and management of color print production
• Coordinates the production of marketing material, ie business cards, constant contact, Facebook
• Maintain print production schedules
• Work proactively with vendors to ensure continuous improvement of vendor relationships
• Develop specifications for new components with vendors, negotiate effective pricing structures
• Oversee implementation of new purchasing /knowledge of accounting system with purchase order completion including document tracking or order confirmation, shipments and receipts is up to date.
• Participation and leadership of relationship and business reviews with PD Team and vendors
• Maintaining marketing advertisements for company promos, on a monthly basis
• Graphic design
• 2-5 years experience in printing, graphic design, project management or supply chain management environment (preferred)
• Knowledge of the print production process including equipment and software (Latex, LF Inkjet, Solvent, Vinyl Cutters, laminating, mounting etc.)
• Ability to multi-task and utilize resources to execute jobs within a deadline oriented environment
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• Finishing of printing production: mounting, hemming, grommets
• Highly motivated and high level of initiative; inspires confidence to work independently and in support of department goals and business objectives
• Ability to build relationships and work across a multi-service organization
• Strong analytics and computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) as well as Design software (Photoshop, Flexiprint, Illustrator)
• Knows how to utilize Cutters, plotters, RIP’s and laminators
• Knowledgeable with media
