Job summary

Office Depot is seeking a Retail Print Manager in Beaumont, TX to lead the print department, drive sales and ensure exceptional customer service. You will oversee print production, equipment, and supplies while building a high-performing team and maintaining Office Depot's values.

This role requires leadership, training, and the ability to open/close the store as a Key Carrier, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends. A background in print services and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience.
• Minimum 2 years management experience or equivalent internal development.
• Experience in Print Center operations.
• Experience with logistics, freight, and visual merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Owns ensuring delivery of memorable customer experiences and client satisfaction in the Print Department.
• Ensure the execution of Office Depot selling techniques and sales training in print and across the store.
• Drives a sales-focused environment through training and development of all associates, inclusive of print.
• Act as a role model for delivering exceptional customer service and product expertise.
• Provide guidance, direction, and ongoing training to all associates to ensure an understanding of print processes and selling techniques.
• Facilitate training sessions on the business model and holistic service offering for clients/customers.
• Observe, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency and build a culture of trust and brand loyalty.
• Regularly exercises independent judgment when assessing store associates' performance, certification(s), and competencies.
• Other duties as deemed necessary
• Operate all equipment within the Print Services area to maintain efficient production and ensure customers’ orders are completed correctly and on time.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies including monitoring and managing all print supplies.
• Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
• Maintain the safety and security of the print department, building, and associates during the absence of other managers.
• Perform opening and closing responsibilities, including activation/deactivation of the store's alarm, cash handling, and daily balancing.
• Ensure loss prevention compliance in partnership with all associates.
• Full responsibilities associated with External Key Carrier designation.
