Job summary

Do it Best Group in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Print Services Lead to manage daily print and mail workflows, gather client project details, and communicate with the team to meet production goals.

You will run daily production meetings, supervise the workload, ensure accuracy and safety, and provide feedback to improve efficiency. This role requires strong organizational skills and a reliable, proactive communicator.

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Level: Hourly

Division / Department: Marketing/Print & Mail Services

Reporting to position: Marketing Services Manager

Travel: Minimal (local travel to vendors, travel to Markets)

About the Role

This position is responsible for effectively leading print services daily workflow. This includes monitoring the daily job submission emails, collecting job details from the client and communicating this information back to their team. This position sets and monitors print schedules and leads daily production meetings. The successful individual will communicate regularly with the manager to best understand how to support operational objectives on a continuous basis. The lead person will then work to support their departmental team in accomplishing these goals safely and effectively by making appropriate adjustments to the daily workflow.

Responsibilities include

• Computer knowledge in working with different file formats
• Problem solving skills that lead to solutions
• Support a safe work environment by observing and assisting others, as well as reporting any unsafe acts to management
• Provide backup for Digital Press Operator & Mail & Finishing Operator based on departmental demands
• Maintain inventory & submit requests for reorder
• Offer clear communication and feedback to management on assigned work group
• Proactively support the team by answering questions and responding to their day to day needs
• Assist in providing fundamental training for the successful completion of each team member’s job responsibilities
• Ensure that all expected procedures are followed every time
• Help in performance management and continuous improvement processes by providing specific feedback to the management team on efficiency and effectiveness of procedures and team member performance
• Meet with clients to determine scope and goals of project
• Organize, facilitate, schedule, and monitor projects
• Delegate work to team
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy and quality

Education and Experience

Minimum

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience managing projects

• Experience managing large projects from print production to distribution
