Sheridan Grand Rapids is hiring a Manufacturing Associate (Material Handler) to support our print production. No industry experience needed—we provide training to help you succeed and grow with a growing company.

In this role you will move materials, inspect quality, and assist with setup while maintaining a clean, safe work area. This is a full-time, regular shift with opportunities for overtime and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Team-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn.
• Able to lift and move materials safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Remove printed materials from the press and stack on pallets.
• Check products for quality issues like smears or folding problems.
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
• Count, label, and organize materials.
• Bundle and prepare products for the next stage of production.
• Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move materials.
• Assist the press crew with job setup, including handling printing plates.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Help with other projects as needed.
