Job summary

Community Impact Printing is seeking a hands-on Material Handler to join our Pflugerville team. You will move materials, set up equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting production operations.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and willingness to work 10–30 hours per week on 1st shift (6 AM–2:30 PM, M-F). Prior printing/manufacturing exposure is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Able to read and interpret labels and printed materials.
• Available to work 10-30 hours per week on 1st shift hours (6 AM - 2:30 PM, M-F).
• Occasional weekends or variable shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lift, move, and stack materials by hand and by use of hand-jacks, forklifts, clamp-lifts, etc.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, wiping, and vacuuming oil, ink, paper and dust from floors, walls and machinery
• Perform routine maintenance such as clearing jams and restarting machines
• Maintain knowledge of quality control procedures
• Collect and inspect random samples to identify defects or errors
• Ensure area readiness
