Job summary

Tex-Trude is seeking a motivated individual to assist the Press Operator in set-up and learning press functions at our Channelview, TX facility. The role requires assisting with ink viscosity, blade changes, and quality checks to ensure print accuracy.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, lift up to 75 pounds, and adapt to hot/cold environments. Printing press experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months’ experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with little supervision
• Strong mechanical skills, basic math skills, and a positive attitude
• Able to work 12-hour shifts and a rotational schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
• Willingness to adapt quickly to unexpected schedule changes
• Must be able to tolerate a seasonally hot and cold work environment
• Printing press experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Assist the Press Operator to set up orders and learn Press Operator functions
• Help maintain ink viscosity and change doctor blades
• Help check and maintain print quality
• Properly fill out labels, production logs and palletize material
• Other duties as required
