Georgia-Pacific is hiring at the Green Bay Packerland location for a Machine Operator. The role features a rotating 12-hour shift with days, nights, weekends and overtime, starting pay is $24-$26 per hour plus a $3.00 per hour night shift premium.

Qualifications

• Experience using a computer, tablet, OR smartphone.
• Speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the printing press while managing multiple tasks.
• Time management and organization of duties.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Set print and match a specified print target.
• Inspect print quality and make adjustments to meet design specs.
• Retrieve physical print samples for quality inspections.
• Perform ink maintenance to ensure accurate color and ink performance.
• Clean print plates, cylinders, and rolls.
• Use computer systems to monitor and order raw materials.
• Record data for Quality, Productivity and Waste.
• Provide feedback to supervisor or shift leader and perform light maintenance.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Duties may include inline converting of printed materials.
