Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for the 2nd shift in our press department. We'll train you, no print industry experience required, and you’ll help build your career in a hands-on role.

You’ll set up and operate offset presses, read job instructions, install plates, adjust registration, and ensure color/quality standards. You’ll monitor equipment, perform routine maintenance, and work safely with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment.
• Detail-oriented with pride in quality work.
• Able to read and follow job specifications and adjust equipment.
• Team player with positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate single- and multi-color offset printing presses.
• Read job instructions and prepare the press for each project.
• Install printing plates and adjust registration.
• Make color and quality adjustments to meet standards.
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Work safely with a collaborative team.
