Operational discipline, attention to detail, and adherence to ICON's policies and standards are essential for success in this position. This role will require travel for extended durations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate Vulcan and Magma systems to meet daily production targets.
  • Work closely with Print Ops Leads, taking instructions and contributing to the team's objectives.
  • Perform build activities, including reinforcement adjustment and placement as needed.
  • Execute and document QC measurements on material samples during operations.
Service and Repairs
  • Assist in diagnosing and repairing printer issues, including coordinating parts, performing replacements, and conducting calibrations.
  • Operate diagnostic tools such as multimeters to troubleshoot and address technical problems.
  • Manage inventory and delivery of replacement parts, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking within ticketing systems.
  • Update and maintain detailed work steps and resolutions in ticketing systems to ensure consistent and transparent communication.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
  • Work with electrical wiring and components as required.
Performance and Data Reporting
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide real-time, proactive reporting on progress updates, milestones, and activities related to prints, mobilizations, and builds
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Basic proficiency with diagnostic tools such as multimeters to troubleshoot and assess electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems, including a basic understanding of components and their functions.
  • Familiarity with electrical wiring and components, with the ability to perform tasks under supervision.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management systems or ticketing systems for tracking parts and documenting work steps (training provided by ICON).
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery under supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document work and collaborate with team members effectively.
  • Self‑motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in dynamic work environments.
  • Proficiency in English.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing maintenance, field operations, or a similar hands‑on technical environment.
  • Strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Familiarity with multi‑axis machinery, such as CNC machines or 3D printers, including basic operation and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to dynamic challenges.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely and regularly.
  • Comfortable working in various outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures (above 100F or below freezing), sun, rain, mud, and areas with limited infrastructure (e.g., lack of electricity).
