Job summary

Sheridan is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate – Finishing/Bindery role in a fast-paced print manufacturing environment. No bindery experience is required; training will be provided to operate high-speed bindery equipment and support daily production goals.

You’ll work the daytime shift 7a–7p on full-time hours, with potential for overtime and advancement as you learn skilled equipment and processes on the production floor.

Qualifications

Experience operating machinery in manufacturing, warehouse, trades, or similar.
Reading and interpreting work orders, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
Basic math and measurement reading skills.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and procedures.
Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
Reliable team player with good attendance.

Responsibilities

Feed books/signatures into machine.
Pack books into cartons.
Move materials and finished goods safely.
Perform hand operations as required.
Work with a team to hit daily production goals.
Inspect finished products for quality.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
