Description

Join the area’s largest independent full-line authorized provider of the industry’s top three manufacturers for copier, printer, and multi-function product (MFP) technology as a Production Field Service Technician. The Production Field Service Technician with Ford Office Technologies is a professional who will travel to client locations and provide customer support for the installation and maintenance of network connected production copiers, printers, and scanners.

This is a field-based role. This individual will infrequently work from home when not assisting clients on-site.

Presently seeking someone who lives within Murrysville, Greensburg, or Altoona regions.

• Coordinate with the IT staff to assist in resolving underlying problems with the network or the need for any new firmware.
• Install and configure devices, identify, and resolve malfunctions/failures within the hardware or software system.
• Diagnosing and fixing equipment malfunctions or breakdowns, either on-site or remotely.
• Provide technical support to customers, answering queries, and resolving issues.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs. This may include creating service reports and updating documentation.
• Troubleshoot: Identifying and resolving technical problems, both proactively and reactively.
• Safety: Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.
• Complete required training.
• Obtain needed certifications especially for new products.
• A company vehicle is provided upon completion of introductory period.
