Responsibilities

  • Receive artwork files from customers, assign print numbers, and maintain organized records.
  • Print CADs and ensure artwork files are prepared accurately.
  • Use Adobe Photoshop to create repeats, manage color screens, and indexing.
  • Send artwork files and lab dip requests with color standards to mills.
  • Identify potential print issues based on fabric qualities and communicate them to the team.
  • Review lab dips, strike-offs, pre-production, and bulk fabric submissions for standards compliance.
  • Provide feedback and corrections to mills as requested.
  • Cut and send strike-offs, lab dips, pre-production, and bulk samples to customers for approval.
  • Complete submission forms for private label programs accurately and on time.
  • Follow up with customers for feedback and communicate approvals to teams and mills.
  • Track all submissions and approvals to ensure timely follow-up.
  • Assist in resolving production and artwork-related challenges.
  • Support administrative and follow-up tasks to keep the team operating efficiently.

Job description

Our client is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Print and Pre-Production Coordinator to support the Sales and Production teams. The ideal candidate will assist with managing private label and in-house print development, ensuring seamless communication between customers, mills, and internal teams. This role requires accuracy in artwork submissions, fabric approvals, and print quality, along with strong organizational skills and a basic understanding of Photoshop

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive artwork files from customers, assign print numbers, and maintain organized internal records.
  • Print CADs and ensure artwork files are prepared accurately.
  • Work in Adobe Photoshop to create repeats, manage color screens, and perform indexing.
  • Send artwork files and lab dip requests with color standards to mills.
  • Identify potential print issues based on fabric qualities and communicate them to the team.
  • Review lab dips, strike-offs, pre-production, and bulk fabric submissions to ensure they meet approved standards.
  • Provide detailed feedback and requested corrections to mills.
  • Cut and send strike-offs, lab dips, pre-production, and bulk samples to customers for approval.

Required Qualifications
  • Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Manufacturing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, including repeats and color indexing.
  • Familiarity with textile printing, fabrics, or private label programs is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong eye for color matching and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Windows applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively under pressure.
