Job summary

Themesoft Inc is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to lead the architecture, strategy, and evolution of enterprise-scale AI platforms and GenAI-powered product experiences. You will define the platform, drive RAG pipelines, and establish governance for scalable AI systems.

You will also guide cross-team decisions, set standards, and mentor teams to deliver production-grade AI solutions with strong guardrails and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• {must have} 12+ years of software engineering with staff/principal level experience.
• {must have} proven cross-team technical decisions and platform direction.
• {must have} experience designing large-scale distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Principle Engineer AI
Remote in USA
Principal Al Engineer to lead the architecture, strategy, and technical evolution of enterprise scale Al platforms and GenAl powered product experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own enterprise Al platform architecture
• Lead development of RAG pipelines and Al orchestration frameworks
• Build production grade Al systems and proofs of concept Establish Al quality, evaluation, and governance standards Drive Al platform design decisions and reusable tooling

Required Technical Skills

• LLM applications, vector databases, retrieval infrastructure LangChain, Hamalndex, semantic search systems
• Scalable GenAl systems and MtORS
• Required Leadership Skills
• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with significant tenure at Staff/Principat level.
• Drive cross team technical decisions, platform direction, and multi team initiatives (architecture alignment, trade off resolution, execution).
• Define and scale Al driven SLC standards, including tools, guardrails, and automation patterns.
• Hands on experience with Al assisted development (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to deliver production systems; able to articulate workflow impact and guardrails.
• Strong experience designing and evolving large scale distributed systems (APIs, data pipelines, event driven systems, high scale platforms).
• Proven cross org leadership driving architecture, standards, and platform initiatives across multiple.
