Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions seeks an experienced Windows professional for future full-time Windows Systems Engineer III opportunities in Pocatello, Idaho. You will design, implement, and support Windows infrastructure across security enclaves, including Server OS, AD, DNS/DHCP/DFS, and enterprise tooling.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, active Top Secret clearance (or eligibility for sponsor), and 8 years of related experience, with opportunities to work on mission-critical federal programs

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active Top Secret Clearance or be eligible, as we will sponsor
• 8 years directly related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the expert for all Windows environments.
• Designing, implementing, and providing ongoing support of the Windows Infrastructure.
• Supporting physical and virtual systems on multiple security enclaves, creating and maintaining bare-metal and virtual machines with the appropriate distribution of Windows and network configuration, using tools that include Microsoft Configuration Manager, Hyper-V, VMware, SQL Server, Windows 2019/2022/2025, and Windows 11.
• Responding to frequent and varied requests for DNS, DHCP, DFS, print systems, and other support.
• Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution of problems to minimize downtime.
• Developing scripts and other modern solutions for advancing enterprise automation.
• Collaborating professionally with other infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.
• Engineering and maintaining the baseline Windows Server image for the enterprise.
