Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions seeks a Windows Systems Engineer to join our talent pipeline in Pocatello, ID. You will install, maintain, and secure Windows-based infrastructure across enterprise networks and security enclaves.

Responsibilities

As a Windows Systems Engineer, you will be part of a team that is responsible for installing, maintaining, and securing any Windows-based systems that form the infrastructure backbone of enterprise networks.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as the expert for all Windows environments.
• Designing, implementing, and providing ongoing support of the Windows Infrastructure.
• Supporting physical and virtual systems on multiple security enclaves.
• Responding to frequent and varied requests for DNS, DHCP, DFS, print systems, and other support.
• Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution of problems to minimize downtime.

• • Developing scripts and other modern solutions for advancing enterprise automation.
  • Collaboration professionally with other infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Engineering and maintaining the baseline Windows Server image for the enterprise.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Active Top Secret Clearance or be eligible for one, as we will sponsor
• 5+ years directly related industry experience

Desired Skills:

• 5+ years' experience with Windows system administration
• Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
• Familiarity with MDT, WDS, and working with WIM
• Systems administration of DNS, DHCP, and DFS
• Administration of Active Directory and Group Policy preferred
• Print server management preferred
• Experience deploying applications and Microsoft solutions in a STIG protected environment preferred
• PowerShell scripting preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
