Barclays is seeking a Principal Wallet Security Engineer - Digital Assets to define and deliver the security architecture for a cutting-edge wallet platform. You will secure the wallet infrastructure, signing services, key management, and transaction controls across open and permissioned networks.

Responsibilities include leading threat modeling, designing cryptographic signing workflows, and ensuring regulatory compliance within a complex, multi-team environment.

Qualifications

• Design and secure institutional wallet platforms with transaction authorization and cryptographic signing workflows.
• Experience with HSMs, MPC, enterprise key management, and secure signing architectures.
• Implement key lifecycle controls, secrets management, PKI services, and privileged access management in regulated environments.
• Lead threat modeling and security architecture reviews across complex multi-supplier technology stacks.
• Apply secure-by-design engineering practices throughout the platform lifecycle.
