Role Overview: As a Principal Value Engineer, you will work directly with Sales and Presales organizations to create strategies, timelines, and deliverables that align customer initiatives with BMC's solutions.

Key Contributions:

• Coach sales teams on critical business issues faced by customers and articulate BMC value propositions from a business value perspective.
• Identify and quantify relevant value drivers to develop comprehensive financial models and present directly to customers.
• Research and gain insights about customers from public sources to create impactful presentations that foster constructive dialogue with stakeholders.
• Innovate and solve everyday problems proactively.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to influence high-value sales deals.
• Participate in global projects, challenge yourself, and contribute to solving complex problems.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in a consulting role influencing decision-makers through value-based presentations.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS products and solutions.
• Strong storytelling skills that articulate value effectively.
• Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel.

• Proven ability to influence without authority.
• Spanish language skills are preferred.

The annual base salary range for this position is estimated between $129,375 and $215,625, depending on skills, experience, and organizational needs. This range is one component of the total compensation package, which may include variable plans and country-specific benefits. Typically, hires are made below the top of the range.
