Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a Principal UX Researcher to lead planning, strategy, and facilitation of qualitative research across an enterprise design team. This role focuses on building a robust research repository, conducting discovery interviews, card sorts, usability studies, and translating insights into product recommendations.

The position is hybrid with 3 days onsite at our Newton, MA headquarters, working closely with UX designers and product owners to shape product strategy and research

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in UX design, UX research, anthropology, psychology, or related field.
• 7 years of experience in UX design.
• 4–5 years of experience in UX research, including planning and facilitating interviews across projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead user-centered research planning and execution across multiple projects.
• Design and moderate studies, recruit participants, and manage research artifacts.
• Analyze findings and translate insights into user stories and product recommendations.
• Develop and maintain a UX research repository and contribute to research forums.
