Job summary

Stampli is seeking a Principal UX Expert in Austin to lead deep customer insight and shape product strategy. You will work with Finance, Procurement, and executives to ensure the right questions are asked early and UX gaps are caught before Design Review.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, Sales, and Customer Success across US and Israel time zones, building persona libraries, and guiding wireframes, prototypes, and UX copy. The role emphasizes hands-on testing and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in UX, product design, service design, or product strategy.
• Deep user research capability including customer calls, onboardings, and demos.
• Experience in senior in-house UX for B2B SaaS or top-tier consultancies.
• Understanding of finance personas and workflows (AP, procurement, ERP, fintech).
• Ability to apply persona understanding to product and UX copy.

Responsibilities

• Run ongoing user research to understand Stampli's users, buyers, admins, and decision-makers.
• Partner with Product Managers to validate target persona and problem from initiation to review.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to surface persona gaps and usability risks.
• Build or contribute to persona libraries and AI-driven evaluation tools.
• Create or contribute to wireframes and prototypes to test concepts.
• Collaborate on product-UX copy and messaging with Product Marketing.
• Support Product-Led Growth and Product-Led Sales experiments.
