The Senior Talent and Transformation team enables Amazon's senior leaders, and through them the company, to be as successful as possible inventing and delivering for customers, today and tomorrow.
We seek a Principal UX Designer who excels in strategic thinking and thrives where no playbook exists. You will define the vision for how these leaders shape their talent strategy, designing AI-native tools in a domain where customer needs, requirements, and technical feasibility are often undefined. Your work will cut through the complexity of leadership at Amazon: human-centered interfaces that speed innovation and decision-making. You will multiply the team's impact, leading collaborations with senior leaders, setting the interaction patterns engineers build against, and raising the bar for the designers, researchers, and scientists you work with. To succeed, you must be an innovative self-starter, a strategic big-picture thinker, and a hands‑on technical collaborator obsessed with elevating both the work and the people around you.
As a Principal UX Designer, you will be working with product and engineering stakeholders closely on day‑to‑day basis. You will independently own major experiences, and collaborate deeply with other UX designers and research across teams, connecting individual features to a holistic, wide‑ranging experience. You will share design work regularly with design team peer review, stakeholder review, and leadership.
