Job Responsibilities

• Craft and own the vision and strategy for user research at HS1
• Guide and mentor designers, empowering them to deliver impactful insights
• Define best practices and research frameworks across teams
• Conduct and champion in-depth customer research to understand user pain points and inform product decisions
• Collaborate across design, product, and engineering teams to translate insights into action
• Facilitate design thinking workshops and cross-team initiatives
• Help shape team culture and operations as the organization grows

Requirements

• 9+ years in product/UX design, with a focus on UX research and usability testing
• Proven track record of translating research insights into business outcomes
• Experience owning and leading research strategies aligned with product goals
• Familiarity with the full design lifecycle, from discovery to delivery
• Deep customer empathy and passion for solving real-world problems
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Mentoring experience or mindset, guiding or managing other designers
