Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a principal UX designer to bridge advanced robotics with human needs across software, physical context, safety, and manufacturing workflows.

You will set the UX vision for first-to-market industrial robotics products and design control, monitoring, and operational interfaces for complex automation, partnering with cross-functional teams to prototype and ship workflows.

Qualifications

• Principal-level UX or interaction design experience with complex systems.
• Experience prototyping in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools.
• Strong portfolio showing production design for technical or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with human factors, ergonomics, safety-critical systems, data visualization, or manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Set the UX vision for first-to-market industrial robotics products.
• Design control, monitoring, and operational interfaces for complex automation.
• Create user flows and interaction patterns that make advanced systems easier to operate.
• Partner with research, engineering, operations, and safety teams on prototypes and shipped workflows.
