Job summary

Aristocrat Technology Group is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to craft complex, componentized systems for game developers using Unity. You will drive rapid prototyping, architecture decisions, and asset delivery optimizations to support our global casino platforms.

You will also lead automation, testing pipelines, and CI/CD processes while aligning with jurisdiction requirements and collaborating with managers worldwide. Mentoring and clear communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree requirement in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
• At least 10 years of proven C# experience and 10 years in Unity.
• Deep knowledge of Unity Engine, Editor scripting, memory management and rendering.
• 5 years of C programming experience.
• Strong understanding of modern software processes and maintainable code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Craft complex componentized systems enabling rapid game prototyping.
• Lead automation integrations including Editor tooling, tests, and CI/CD builds.
• Collaborate with managers globally to plan and estimate complexity and timelines.
• Ensure GDK alignment with jurisdiction requirements and standards.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to game developers.
• Conduct peer code reviews and drive code quality.
