Job summary

Samsung Healthcare’s US Global Innovation Lab is seeking Principal and Senior Staff Ultrasound Architects and Scientists to join our elite R&D hub. In this role you will hold end-to-end technical authority to architect next-generation ultrasound platforms.

You will collaborate with premier US academic medical centers and lead cross-regional engineering initiatives to push B-mode resolution, beamforming, elastography, and AI-guided interventional workflows.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in EE, BME, CS, or physics required.
• 8+ years in ultrasound imaging R&D; 12+ years for Principal.
• Proven lead or solo contributor in core domains listed below.

Responsibilities

• Architect next-gen ultrasound platforms from transmit to display.
• Lead SW beamforming, synthetic aperture imaging, high-frame-rate imaging.
• Develop image enhancement, speckle reduction, and tissue contrast algorithms.
• Advance elastography and multiparametric quantification methods.
• Collaborate with US KOLs and global HQ for pre-release prototypes.
