Job summary

The Senior Software Architect (Bothell, WA) will lead the Ultrasound R&D Imaging Software team, defining scalable architecture and guiding a cross-functional project group toward compliant, secure, and high-quality platforms.

Collaborating with Product Management, R&D, Software, and DevOps, you will drive architecture decisions for release trains and harness domain expertise in ultrasound and signal processing to improve development efficiency. This is an on-site office role in Bothell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field with strong fundamentals.
• Experience in systems design and imaging-related domains is required.
• Knowledge of ultrasound/acoustics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement scalable architecture solutions aligned with product, platform, and nonfunctional requirements.
• Lead architecture and design decisions across products, solutions, services, and software within release trains.
• Apply deep software development expertise, healthcare standards, regulatory requirements, and customer environment knowledge.
• Partner with Product Management, R&D, Software, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Drive product/platform architecture and requirements with a 6–12 month planning horizon.
• Lead innovation and technical trade-off discussions with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners.
• Apply I2M architecture and platform processes, ensuring alignment with Application Development and PDLM.
• Leverage reusable platforms, technologies, and domain-specific solutions to improve development efficiency.
