Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and analysis of high-voltage transmission lines (69kV to 500kV) using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and TOWER.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key transmission clients, ensuring clear communication, project alignment, and client satisfaction.
• Manage and mentor a small team of engineers, providing technical guidance, quality assurance, and performance feedback.
• Oversee project execution from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, bill of materials, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, environmental specialists, and construction personnel.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, scope development, and client presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in transmission line engineering, with at least 5 years of hands-on PLS-CADD design experience.
• Proven experience managing engineering staff and leading client relationships.
• Strong understanding of NESC, ASCE, and other relevant industry standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
