Job summary

Amazon Privacy's Regulation Tech Assurance (RTA) seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager with a privacy governance background to identify, analyze, and prioritize privacy risk across Amazon. You will drive the Hourglass program, coordinating with engineering and security teams to remediate obligations and reduce regulatory risk.

Lead cross-functional privacy programs, communicate with executives, and establish KPI-driven reporting while integrating risk management into enterprise processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• Experience managing complex technology projects

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end strategy and execution of Amazon Privacy's identification, assessment, and remediation framework for privacy obligations.
• Manage and be accountable for privacy programs and/or projects to reduce privacy and compliance risk.
• Work across various stakeholders to identify and evaluate customer needs and solutions.
• Lead various privacy compliance activities in order for Amazon to achieve and maintain compliance with legal, policy, and regulatory standards.
• Continuously prioritize risk for service teams, security teams, and executive leadership.
• Work with Principal Engineers and others to develop technical risk mitigation strategies and approaches.
• Communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally with team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Integrate into various enterprise risk management processes.
• Establish program mechanisms, KPIs, and executive reporting.
