Job summary

Amazon's Item Identity team seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager to own the rollout of a GenAI-powered product identity platform. You will manage phased deployments to internal customers and external partners, supervise launch gates, and optimize the operating cadence that aligns stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Own the phased rollout of the platform to internal business customers and external partners: sequencing, staged adoption, and progress against plan.
• Own the go/no-go launch gates, ensuring every production rollout meets its quality bar before it ships and balancing speed with customer trust.
• Champion AI-native ways of working across the program: use GenAI to run the operating cadence, triage and route escalations, and scale program mechanisms.
• Own the program's operating cadence and business reviews: run the forum, surface hard-to-decide topics, and drive cross-organization alignment and action closure.
• Own the customer escalation pipeline end to end: intake, triage, routing to the right team, and turning escalations into lasting improvements.
• Own the relationship with partners and internal consumers, including integration and consumption of the platform, and set clear expectations.
