Job summary

Mezzo Technologies, a division of Signia Aerospace, seeks a Principal Performance Engineer to tackle thermal and mechanical problems in heat exchanger tech. You will guide the full development cycle from sizing to qualification testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust hardware.

You should have strong fundamentals in mechanics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics, plus experience with engineering simulations and verification/validation, Python or MATLAB, and ANSYS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering analysis and simulations experience.
• Experience with engineering simulations and verification/validation.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress, heat transfer, and fluid flow calculations.
• Develop and execute verification plans to meet design requirements.
• Produce documentation for design reviews and data deliverables.
• Collaborate with designers to balance performance and manufacturability.
• Support qualification testing for new products.
• Develop and maintain analytical models and tools.
• Stay updated on latest technologies to maintain competitive edge.
