Job summary

HYVE Solutions is seeking a Principal-level thermal design engineer to own system thermal design, validation, and production support for next‑generation AI and GPU servers. You will lead hands‑on work on air‑ and liquid‑cooling systems and collaborate across hardware teams.

This role requires 10+ years of experience in high‑power thermal systems, CFD modeling, lab validation, and bring‑up across EVT/DVT/PVT, with strong problem solving and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in hands-on thermal design for servers or high-power electronics.
• Experience delivering air-cooled and/or liquid-cooled systems into production.
• Hyperscale deployment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own system-level thermal design from concept to production, optimizing airflow, heatsinks, cold plates, and cooling hardware.
• Design direct-to-chip liquid cooling solutions and support hybrid platforms.
• Perform thermal and CFD modeling, instrument systems for validation, and correlate simulations with lab data.
• Lead thermal bring-up across EVT/DVT/PVT and drive root-cause analysis with fixes.
• Collaborate with mechanical, hardware, power, firmware, and manufacturing teams to embed thermal considerations.
