Job summary

Graphcore, a leader in AI computing, is seeking a Principal Test Framework Software Engineer in Austin, TX. You will define the architecture for shared test automation frameworks, enabling hardware bring-up, qualification, regression testing, and production validation.

You will translate hardware requirements into scalable, maintainable test solutions, improve validation speed and quality, and provide technical direction across hardware, firmware, systems, product, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and Bash scripting
• Experience building test automation and validation infra
• Strong debugging and systems-thinking abilities

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and roadmap for shared test automation frameworks across hardware bring-up, qualification, regression testing, and production validation.
• Design and implement framework components, interfaces, configuration models, and libraries for multiple hardware platforms.
• Translate hardware specs and quality goals into scalable automated test suites with traceability.
• Establish standards for reliability, maintainability, and test-result integrity.
• Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines and lab infrastructure.
• Develop data pipelines to collect, analyze, and visualize test results.
• Lead debugging across test software, OS, firmware, hardware, and lab environments.
