- Develop and integrate spectroscopy and spectrometer-based test solutions where applicable.
- Translate laboratory measurement methods developed by R&D into robust, repeatable, production-ready manufacturing test systems.
- Compile and analyze test data and identify required changes to test equipment, test procedures, manufacturing processes, and test requirements.
- Plan and coordinate the labor, schedules, equipment, and resources required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
- Define testing parameters and specify tests required for manufacturing sample evaluation.
- Perform testing of customer samples and special tests that cannot be performed in the standard manufacturing test area.
- Troubleshoot moderately complex and undefined test and measurement problems through detailed data gathering, analysis, and investigation.
- Drive improvements to test systems, processes, and products to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturing capability.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, product engineering, technical leads, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to engineers and lower-level professionals.
