MAXX Potential LLC is seeking a Principal Technologist to provide technical leadership across client projects, drive solution strategies, and mentor apprentices within our growing program.

You will lead technical implementations, evaluate feasibility, and foster strong client relationships while championing MAXX values. This senior role emphasizes hands-on delivery, architecture oversight, and shaping the future of our apprenticeship initiatives in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of work experience in a hands-on technical capacity.
• Two or more years team leadership experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementation of customer projects, evaluate feasibility, cost, scheduling, and other success criteria.
• Act as a mentor and advisor for Apprentices, including holding office hours and evaluating progress.
• Assist in the recruitment of Apprentices through interviews and candidate selection.
• Foster a safe, collaborative, and challenging work environment to push Apprentices’ development.
• Act as the first escalation point to ensure customer satisfaction and execution success.
• Work as a senior-level contributor in software development, enterprise security operations, QA & testing.
• Schedule and prepare meetings & presentations with customers.
• Define, deliver, and support strategic plans for overall business success.
• Perform retrospective analysis of projects and implement recommendations.
• Live and demonstrate MAXX Potential values and lifelong learning.

Position

Salary Range: $75,000 – $125,000

The Principal Technologist is an expert/lead technical role. This key leadership role includes providing technical oversight and guidance, mentoring, and assisting in development strategies to grow the business. A leader who will ensure client satisfaction and help build the business.

As a Principal Technologist you will be responsible for being a technical leader who strives to understand client organizations, processes and needs; drives projects to innovate solutions solving our clients challenges; develop and maintain consistent relationships at all organizational levels, and work to ensure that MAXX is the consultant‑of‑choice for our clients.

What You’ll Do:
