Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Technology Sourcing lead to develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for emerging technologies, including cloud, AI/ML, and IoT. You will lead contract negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with business units to align technology needs with procurement goals.

The role emphasizes cost optimization, risk management, and ensuring security/compliance across supplier engagements, with cross-functional teamwork to enable technology

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technology sourcing experience.
• BS/BA or technical degree preferred.
• Certification is required in some areas.
• Certification in sourcing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for emerging technologies (cloud, AI/ML, IoT, automation).
• Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements to ensure favorable terms and cost-effectiveness.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance and security/compliance.
• Collaborate with BU stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align sourcing with technology needs and drive adoption.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage procurement risks to ensure compliance and mitigate issues.

• Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for emerging technologies, including cloud, AI/ML, IoT, and automation, to support organizational goals.
• Negotiate and Manage Contracts: Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements to ensure favorable terms, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
• Manage Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with security controls and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with BU stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with technology needs, provide cost analysis support, and facilitate technology adoption.
• Optimize Costs and Manage Risks: Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize procurement costs, and manage risks associated with technology sourcing to ensure compliance and mitigate potential issues.

Requirements
